Media Release & Photo Consent Agreement
Well Spent Weekends™ experiences are designed to create memorable moments, genuine connections, and experiences worth sharing. Throughout each getaway, photographs, video, audio recordings, and other media may be captured by Well Spent Weekends, its representatives, photographers, contractors, or approved partners.
By registering for and attending a Well Spent Weekends getaway, you acknowledge and agree to the following unless you have submitted an advance media opt-out request as described below.
Use of Image & Likeness
I grant Well Spent Weekends permission to photograph, film, record, and otherwise capture my image, likeness, voice, statements, and participation during the getaway.
I authorize Well Spent Weekends to use approved photographs, videos, recordings, and other media in which I appear for legitimate business, editorial, promotional, and marketing purposes, including:
Website content
Social media
Digital and print advertising
Email marketing
Promotional videos
Printed materials
Public relations
Future Well Spent Weekends promotions
Recaps and editorial content related to Well Spent Weekends experiences
No Compensation
I understand that I will not receive compensation, royalties, or other payment for authorized use of photographs, video, audio, or other media in which I appear.
Media Ownership & Usage Rights
Photographs, videos, recordings, and other media created by or on behalf of Well Spent Weekends may be owned by Well Spent Weekends or used by Well Spent Weekends pursuant to licenses or agreements with photographers, videographers, contractors, or other content creators.
I understand that I do not acquire ownership rights in such media solely because my image, likeness, or voice appears in it.
Editing & Presentation
I understand that authorized media may be reasonably edited, cropped, resized, captioned, combined with other content, or otherwise adapted for promotional, editorial, or marketing purposes.
Well Spent Weekends will not knowingly use a guest’s image or likeness in a misleading, defamatory, or materially deceptive manner.
Group Photos & Event Coverage
Well Spent Weekends getaways are shared group experiences. Photography and video may occur during activities, meals, excursions, social gatherings, recreational programming, and in common or public areas.
Guests may therefore appear incidentally in group photographs, background footage, or general event coverage.
While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate advance media opt-out requests, complete exclusion from all incidental or background photography cannot always be guaranteed in shared or public spaces.
Media Opt-Out Requests
Guests who prefer not to have their identifiable image or likeness intentionally used in Well Spent Weekends promotional or marketing materials should notify us in writing before the getaway begins.
We will make reasonable efforts to identify guests who have opted out and avoid intentionally featuring them in promotional photography or video.
Guests who have opted out are also encouraged to remind the Well Spent Weekends host or photographer upon arrival so that we can best honor the request throughout the experience.

An opt-out request does not necessarily prevent incidental appearance in wide-angle, crowd, background, or public-space photography where exclusion is not reasonably practical.
Release
To the extent permitted by law, I release Well Spent Weekends and its authorized representatives from claims arising solely from the authorized capture, editing, publication, or use of my image, likeness, voice, or statements in accordance with this Agreement.
This release does not apply to uses outside the scope of the permission granted in this Agreement or to rights that cannot legally be waived.

By registering for and attending a Well Spent Weekends getaway, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this Media Release & Photo Consent Agreement and consent to the uses described above, subject to any written opt-out request submitted in accordance with this policy.
